The pianist Khatia Buniatishvili presents us with this magnificent performance of the great masterpiece of Franz Liszt. One of the great compositions of the classical repertoire and one of the most difficult piano pieces to be performed.

They said that once during the reception at the palace, Liszt’s hat fell off the stairs and rolled down. The Russian princess approaching Liszt exclaims, “Oh, your hat is broken!” He replied, “Get out! Because of your charm, I’m unconscious and the hat is no longer suitable for me.”
