Flight of the Bumblebee – Rimsky-Korsakov (arr. Cziffra)

“The Flight of the Bumblebee” by Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov is one of the best-known and most challenging classical compositions of all time. It was originally written for a solo violin and Korzakov later rewrote it for the piano. This is without a doubt one of the most difficult piano pieces to play.

Playing “The Flight of the Bumblebee” is not for many. Here, the incredible pianist Yuja Wang, currently considered one of the best in the world, performs the piece with the greatest agility, drawing deafening applause from the audience. See and shudder!
