Chopin – Ballade in G Minor (The Pianist)

Directed by Roman Polanski, the film tells the story, based on real events, by Wladyslaw Szpilman; a pianist who worked on a radio in the city of Warsaw and sees his life change sharply from the German invasion and the beginning of World War II.

Adrien Brody’s performance is impeccable. He moves us with his lost gaze amid the destruction of the city and his family.
