The only concerto for piano and orchestra of Grieg, has three movements:

Grieg had the inspiration for this beautiful concert when he was only 24 years old. This is one of the best and most well-known compositions for piano and orchestra, a music of incredible melodic beauty and hamonica that is present in the program of some of the most famous concert halls in the world such as the Culture and Congress Center Concert Hall in Lucerne ( Switzerland) or Boston Symphony Hall in Boston (USA).

The great Scandinavian composer presented to all lovers of classical music a beautiful musical journey through the nuancies of this wonderful masterpiece.

Allegro molto moderato: The first movement begins with the percussive touches combined with strong attacks on the piano and an impressive orchestral accompaniment. The movement ends with a virtuous cadence full of pianistic flourishes and strong movements as the initial.

Adagio: This adage is wonderful, I personally find this one of the most beautiful harmonies ever composed of all pieces of classical music. This movement is full of expressiveness and passion.

Allegro moderato e marcado: In this movement we have the energy of the present at the beginning of the work and the lyrical enchantment of the second movement united in beautiful melodic variants and that drama that only the listener can understand.

The soloist is fabulous, it is the Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvili as it was already spoken, the orchestra is the National of the Capitol of Toulouse conducted by Tugan Sokhiev.
