Khatia Buniatishvili (A Wonderful Piano for an Amazing Pianist)

“The life is like a piano…
The white keys represent happiness and black the anguish.
Over time you learn to deal with them and suddenly, without realizing it, you can make a beautiful and sumptuous melody …
Think like this and live better!”

Chopin (Waltz in C-Sharp Minor, Op. 64 No. 2)

  3. Louise,
With 88 keys on a piano, I never have understood
how a pianist like this memorizes the sound of each key
so that she can play without sheet music.
Or how she memorizes the complicated, fast music itself. Or how pianists like her are totally relaxed.
    Beautiful.
    Thanks,
    Kathy

    1. Thanks Katty for the visit. It takes a lot of study and dedication to memorize such complex compositions. A life of study. When I was in the conservatory I studied 8 hours a day to learn small pieces and exercises of pianistic technique. It is possible, but it is not easy.
